Career Source Training Opportunities

Keep your skills in high demand

Do you need to improve your skills to help you get a job? Career Source works with a variety of state-approved training programs to provide free or low-cost courses for eligible job seekers who are collecting unemployment or low-income.

Dislocated Worker Program - Are you unemployed? You may be eligible for free training. This federal program provides services to individuals receiving unemployment insurance.

Changes in Section 30: As long as the new Extended Unemployment Compensation Re-employment Assistance is in effect, if you are collecting unemployment (even if it has run out) and you are attending a training program on the approved list, you may apply for Section 30.

If you're approved for Section 30, you may collect unemployment for the entire time you're in training OR up to 26 weeks, whichever comes first.
