Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Dislocated Worker Program

Low-income Adult Program

National Emergency Grant
You could be eligible for free training and job search assistance if you were laid off from one of the following companies: Bank of America, Capital One, Fidelity Investments (Veritude), Putnam Investments, Sovereign Bank, State Street Bank & Trust, or Wellington Management.

The Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Program
If you lost your job as a result of your company or department moving to another country, the TAA program can help you get back to work. If you’re eligible, the program can offer you:
- Job training
- Income support
- Job search and relocation allowances
- Tax credits to help pay health insurance costs
- Wage subsidies to workers 50-plus years of age
